Report answer

Seer uses Reality.eth as its oracle system for resolving market outcomes. Reality allows multiple players to provide answers for a question in a decentralized manner, and the final correct answer will be rewarded.

In Seer, after the opening time, you can report your answer to Reality. Click Answer on Reality.eth!:

You can then input and submit your answer. You must have enough bond in your wallet. In the following example, you need to deposit 0.1 DAI to submit your answer:

Other answers can also be submitted after the first. However, you have to pay at least twice as much (bond) as the previous answerer to submit your answer.

If there is no other answer after a certain period of time, the market can be resolved.

If your answer is the final answer, or if your answer matches the final answer, you will receive your bond deposit back plus bonds from incorrect answers submitted before yours. Otherwise, you will lose your bonds.
