# Raise a dispute

If you believe the current bond required to submit another answer is too high, you can raise a dispute. This question will be submitted to [Kleros Court](https://court.kleros.io/) for evaluation.<br>

You have to submit a fixed fee (set by Kleros) to request for arbitration.<br>

Once you submit your request, you will notice that the market will no longer accept new answers.

Once Kleros Court is notified, the market status will be updated accordingly.

You can click **Check the Case on Kleros Court** to view your dispute. Here, you'll find the [current stage](https://docs.kleros.io/products/court/what-happens-during-a-dispute) of your dispute and the anticipated waiting period for each stage. Additionally, you can submit evidence to strengthen your case.

{% hint style="info" %}
A dispute typically takes up to 14 days and 12 hours to reach a decision. However, if an appeal is filed, the dispute will return to the voting period, adding 11 days for each appeal. Note that appeals do not include an evidence period.
{% endhint %}

After Kleros Court has made its ruling, the market status will be updated once more. The answer you see will be final.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://seer-3.gitbook.io/seer-documentation/getting-started/navigate-our-site/raise-a-dispute.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
